FERRY OVERVIEW

The ferry travels between Surfers Paradise in the heart of the Nerang River to the expansive Gold Coast Broadwater. The calm waterways are family-friendly, with kids under 5 travelling free of charge.

Ferries depart every hour, allowing you to enjoy the 5 destinations at your own pace.

Hopo is an inclusive and accessible way to travel, we proudly accept concession and companion cards. Bring your prams, small dogs, bikes and mobility devices onboard.

Fare Information

The ferry travels across two zones, making five stops along the way.  You can hop on or hop off, at any of the 5 destinations.

Travelling from Surfers Paradise to Sea World the journey time is 50 minutes one-way, or just under two hours for the round-trip.  See timetable for more information.

Fares are based on travel duration and destination, options include:

  • The popular Day Pass includes unlimited stops and ultimate flexibility for a full calendar day.
  • See all the sights with the 2 Hour Sightseeing Cruise, which includes one optional stop along the way.
  • Take the scenic route from Surfers Paradise to Sea World with a discounted Ferry Transfer, or buy the Sea World Entry and Ferry Combo to save!
