Ferry discounts for Gold Coast locals

To celebrate ‘Queensland Seniors Month’, local concession cardholders will receive half-price travel Monday to Friday for the entire month of October, and extended into November!

Grab a ‘Concession locals mid-week day pass’ for only $10 (normally $20), to enjoy the stunning waterways and 5 riverside destinations.

There are a number of ways to redeem this special seniors offer:

1. Purchase the locals mid-week day pass online, using coupon code HOPO50 at checkout. Please enter the code in CAPS
2. Simply hop onboard and show your proof of Gold Coast address and concession card
3. Visit the friendly customer service team at the Hopo Kiosk in Appel Park, or at the Sea World Cruises Terminal

The 10 Trip Multi-Saver unlocks discounted travel, with fares from only $5 one-way.  For $50 you receive up to 10 Trips per person, for example:

• Travel from Surfers Paradise to HOTA, for only $5 one-way
• Ditch the car and go between Southport Broadwater Parklands and Marina Mirage, for a only $5 one-way
• Enjoy a beautiful river cruise, with the full loop only $20 (or $10 one-way)

This pass is perfect for regular cruisers or visitors exploring over multiple days. Simply purchase online, onboard or at the customer service desks.

The 10 Trip card does not expire and can be used any time any day.

Please note: a ‘trip’ is travel less than 20 minutes within 1 zone.  For travel more than 20 minutes across 2 zones, that is equal to 2 trips.

Concession discounts are available, with free travel for carers upon presentation of a National Companion Card.

Ahoy little captains! Kids under five (0-4 years old) receive ferry travel for free.
