Hopping around the Gold Coast waterways is about to get even easier with the launch of a new service by Hopo Gold Coast Ferry.
Dubbed the HOTA Express, the extended service will offer cross-river travel between Surfers Paradise and Home of the Arts (HOTA), departing every 15 minutes Monday to Sunday from 7 am to 10 am and 5 pm to 7 pm.
The HOTA Express service will be on a trial basis, which will occur between 4 November 2021 and 4 December 2021, in conjunction with the Hopo Free Commuter Trial.
The HOTA Express will become a permanent part of the Hopo schedule if there is sufficient interest, with affordable fares from $3.00 per trip.
Bookings are not required, simply meet the ferry at either the Surfers Paradise Ferry Wharf or Home of the Arts Ferry Wharf and hop on. Entrance is on a first-come-first-served basis.
