Surfers Paradise
Home to one of Australia’s most iconic beaches, Surfers Paradise will see our hoppers boarding sandy and salty, which is quite fine by us. Best known for its many nightclubs all within a short walk (or stumble), new visitors may be surprised to find a suite of daytime activities, many shops and enough dining options to fill a month-long holiday.

Purchase Tickets
Getting a ticket for the Hopo is easy.
Simply purchase a Sightseeing Pass online or purchase any ticket type on the ferries or at any Sea World Cruises Terminal.
Booking are not required and seats on the ferry are granted on a first-come-first-served basis. We recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.

Do you take bookings?
No, we do not take bookings. Simply be waiting for the ferry with your ticket, or purchase a ticket onboard.

How often does the ferry stop?
The ferry stops every hour with increased service frequency during peak periods.
Can I take my bike or surfboard on the ferry?
Yes, we are happy to take bikes, surfboards, and any other reasonable sports equipment on the ferry.
Is the ferry wheelchair friendly?
Yes, the ferry and all piers are equipped with ramps and wheelchair friendly areas to assist you throughout your trip.
What is the difference between the zones?
Zone A stops at Surfers Paradise (Appel Park) and HOTA, Home of the Arts.
Zone B stops at the Broadwater Parklands (Southport), Marina Mirage and Sea World.
Please keep zones in mind when purchasing your ticket.
What happens if I lose my ticket?
Please ensure you keep your ticket in a safe place as we cannot replace lost tickets. In the unfortunate case you do misplace your ticket, you will need to purchase another one.
What days does the ferry operate?
Everyday except Christmas Day.
Can I bring or purchase food and beverages on the ferries?
Consuming food is prohibited.
You may not consume food while onboard. There are no options to purchase food on the ferries. There is, however, a wide range of dining options available at all destinations.
Consuming beverages is permitted.
You may bring and consume non-alcoholic beverages while onboard. Water, soft drinks, beer and wine, are available to purchase on the ferries. Alcoholic drink purchases are limited to two per person.
